2달 동안 무엇을 했는가?

 How did you study during the first two months?

내 수업은 영어회화를 하는 수업이기 때문에 말하기가 중요했다. 그래서 영어회화를 보며 말하기를 하였고, 영어회화 영상 뿐만 아니라 스피킹 연습도 보며 연습을 하였다. 그리고 영어 일기도 썼다. → My class is /studying for English conversation./ The most important thing is/ to speak English./ So/ I always watched videos of English conversation /and repeated the sentences in the video during my class./ Also,/ I practiced speaking and wrote my diary.

수업을 분석해 볼 때, 잘된 부분은 무엇인가? 계획대로 잘 되었나?When you analyze your class, what are the good things about your study. Did it go with your plan? 영상 시청과 영상을 보고 따라하는 활동은 잘하였던 것 같다. → I think /I did well in watching videos /and repeating English sentences in the videos.
Are there any parts you want to improve? 부족했던 부분은 무엇인가?
단어 외우는 것이 부족했다. 하루에 50개씩 외우려고 하였으나 시간이 부족하였고 결국 계획대로 외우지 못하였다. 또, 일기 적는 것을 자주 잊어버리고 못쓸때가 많았다. → It was a lack of memorizing vocabulary. /I tried to memorize 50 words a day, /but I didn't have enough time and couldn't memorize as planned./ Also,/ I /forgot to write a diary /and couldn't write it a lot.
Why do you think that you didn’t do well on memorizing vocabularies? 왜 단어를 외우는 것이 부족했다고 생각하는지?
시간이 부족했던 것도 있었고, 조금씩 생기는 짜투리 시간을 잘 활용하지 못한 것 같다. 앞으로는 짜투리 시간을 잘 활용하여 공부를 하여야겠다.→ First, /I didn’t have enough time /and didn't use my time well. From now on, I have to use my spare time to study my class.
남은 기간동안의 계획의 변화가 있는지? Is there any change of plan for the rest of the semester?
우선 하루에 50개씩 외우려고 했던 단어를 30개씩 외우려고 한다. → I will memorize 30 words instead of 50 words a day as I planned at first.
Please explain your future class plan.
영어 말하기를 더 할 수 있는 방법이 무엇이 있을까 생각을 해보았는데, 선생님께서 영어 책을 읽는 것을 추천해주셨다. 영어책을 읽음으로써 말하는 시간이 더 늘어날 것이기 때문에 스피킹을 더 잘할 수 있게 될 것 같다. 또, 매 수업마다 선생님께 공부한 내용을 영어로 설명하고 마칠 것이다. → I thought about how to improve my speaking, and my teacher recommended reading an English book out loud. I think I can speak english better by reading english books because I will practice speaking more. And in every class, I will explain what I studied to my teacher in English.
